چکیده
Abstract Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) are attractive sunscreens for UV protection, but they still face some challenges due to their white color and skin whitening, the extent of blocking is limited UV-B. Therefore, present work aimed develop novel sunscreen agents based on ZnO/Fe 3 O 4 hybrid nanocomposites. nanocomposites were prepared using a facile one-step combustion method characterized by XRD, FTIR, FESEM, UV–Vis diffuse reflectance techniques. The in vitro sun protection factor (SPF) antioxidant activity samples carried out spectrophotometric methods. biocompatibility potential was tested normal (Human lung fibroblast: WI38) cancerous (Hepatocellular carcinoma: HEPG-2) cell lines antibacterial against Gram-negative Escherichia coli Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus . Bare ZnO NPs had pure structures with average particle sizes scale below 100 nm. as well anticancer (cell viability 80% all up 6.25 μg/mL indicating non-toxicity). nanocomposite presented good absorption SPF values (SPF = 12.2–14) not too far from those bare 15.4) achieved extended over visible range. colored compounds that can match desired tanned tone have biophysical properties make them promising future cosmetic protectant.
